Hello,

I'm Dr. Meghan Bauer ND, a licensed Naturopathic Dr., teacher, and mom to two wonderful girls.  I've been in practice in Toronto since 2006 and teaching with the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto since 2008.  

Why?

I’ve spent much of my life thinking critically about health, disease, and wellness. Losing my mother to colon cancer at a young age motivated me to explore medicine deeply, first through medical science studies at McGill University, and later through naturopathic medical school.

Over nearly 20 years in practice, I’ve learned to trust the ways our bodies and minds express themselves through symptoms and patterns, both subtle and significant. My work integrates this clinical experience with preventative health strategies to help patients move toward sustainable wellness.

How?

While years of study laid the foundation, my real learning comes from working with people. Listening to patients’ stories and understanding their experiences has taught me the most about what supports meaningful health outcomes.

I combine evidence-informed medicine with insights from traditional practices worldwide, including plant medicine, clinical nutrition, lifestyle interventions, and functional testing.  Always with curiosity, an open mind, and respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal.

I continue to learn and grow alongside my patients, committed to thoughtful, personalized care and practical strategies that fit real life.

• Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. 2006

• Private practice as a Naturopathic Dr. since 2007

• Instructor of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, since 2008

• Professional member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario
