Integrative Naturopathic Medicine
Thoughtful, evidence-informed care for mental and physical
health.
What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a regulated form of primary healthcare that focuses on understanding health concerns in context, biologically, psychologically, and environmentally, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
In my practice, naturopathic and functional medicine are used to explore why symptoms are occurring, how different systems influence one another, and what supports are most appropriate at a given point in time.
Care is grounded in careful assessment, clinical reasoning, and evidence-informed decision-making, with an emphasis on safety, appropriateness, and sustainability.
How naturopathic care fits within modern healthcare?
Naturopathic medicine does not replace conventional medical care. It works best alongside it.
Many patients seek care because:
their tests are “normal,” yet symptoms persist
they are managing multiple concerns at once
they want help interpreting labs, treatments, or supplements they are already using
they want a clinician who has time to look at the full picture
When helpful, care includes collaboration with family physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity and clarity.
Who this approach tends to support best
This style of care is particularly well-suited for individuals who are already engaged in their health and want thoughtful guidance to help integrate it all.
Patients often present with:
persistent or fluctuating symptoms
complex or overlapping concerns
periods of transition (hormonal, metabolic, psychological, or life-stage related)
a sense that “something isn’t adding up”
Some arrive with a diagnosis; others do not.
The goal is not to chase every possible explanation, but to identify the most relevant contributing factors and address them in a measured, individualized way.

What naturopathic care involves in this practice
Care may include:
detailed history-taking and clinical assessment
review and interpretation of existing medical tests
selective functional or laboratory testing, when indicated
nutritional, botanical, lifestyle, and mind–body interventions
medication and supplement review, with a focus on minimizing excess
Recommendations are discussed collaboratively, adjusted over time, and designed to fit real life.
The aim is not to restrict unnecessarily or overwhelm with interventions, but to support flexibility, resilience, and long-term health.
